Day 1 - Departure from Home/Arrival in Rome/Assisi/Siena/Florence Private coach transfer to Florence with a stop en route to visit Assisi and Siena. Assisi, the mystic town of Saint Francis still surrounded by ancient walls. Visit the Basilica of Saint Francis with its early Renaissance masterpieces by Giotto and Cimabue. Proceed on to Siena, the beautiful medieval city renown for the Palio. The on to Florence. Check-in and time at leisure to explore the city.
Day 2 - Florence Meet your Local guide at the hotel for a morning sightseeing tour with our local guide to Immerse in the fascinating world of Michelangelo. The Accademia Gallery in Florence attracts visitors from all over the world to gaze upon masterpieces by famous artists, especially Michelangelo's most famous work - the statue of David. Other important works of art by Michelangelo include Prigioni and San Matteo. Afterwards the tour will continue to Visit the Cathedral of Santa Maria degli Angeli , the Duomo with the baptistery and Giotto's tower. Continuation through the medieval district of Florence to see the Dante's House, visit of Signoria Square with the old palace. Day 3 - Padua/Venice Private coach transfer to Venice with a stop in the elegant city of Padua. Admire the Byzantine intricacies of St. Anthony's Basilica, and marvel at the Giotto frescoes in the great Scrovegni Chapel. Private boat transfer to your hotel in Venice, check-in and stroll along the shopping streets and will have free time.
Day 4 - Verona/Como Morning departure for Verona to see the town of Romeo and Juliet, the city of Shakespeare's star-crossed lovers. Here we have time to window-shop along the Via Mazzini with its tempting boutiques or perhaps to visit the 2,000 year old Roman arena. Then continue on Como.
Day 5 - Como Today you will take a private panoramic boat cruise on the lake. The entire lake is surrounded by mountains. The only island on the Lake is Isola Comacina facing the village of Sala Comacina, on the Como branch. Along the shores, in particular from Cernobbio to Gravedona and Bellagio, you will see wonderful villas and gardens with plenty of flowers as well as exotic and rare plants. For instance, Villa d'Este at Cernobbio, which is today a luxurious hotel, has a magnificent garden.
Day 6 - Milan/Bologna/San Marino Departure to Milan and panoramic tour of the city. Proceeded on to San Marino via Bologna, one of Italy's most important art cities. Visit this fascinating medieval town with its charming squares Piazza Maggiore and Piazza del Nettuno. Proceed to San Marino, the world's smallest and oldest independent Republic, founded in the year 301, as a Christian sanctuary.
Day 7 - Perugia/Assisi/RomeDeparture to Perugia, the charming university town. Visit the impressing Cathedral and the Palazzo dei Priori. Perugia has one of the most beautiful squares in Europe in which it is possible to admire the Maggiore Fountain, the gothic Basilica of San Lorenzo and the Palazzo dei Priori, home to the Town Hall. Your coach transfer continues to Assisi, famous all over the world for being the native town of St Francis. Visit the the Basilica of St Francis, frescoed by Giotto and Cimabue, the Basilica of Santa Chiara and the Basilica of Santa Maria degli Angeli. Proceed to Rome.
Day 8 - Departure/Bye Bye Italy Private coach Transfer to Airport.
